Georgia Symphony Race to Be Held in Kennesaw

It begins at Barrett Lakes Office Park off Greers Chapel Road.

The annual Noteworthy 5K Race to raise money for the Georgia Symphony Orchestra (GSO) and the Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra & Chorus (GYSO&C) will take place Saturday, May 11, in Kennesaw. The GSO is proud to announce that this year’s presenting sponsor for the race is Wellstar Health Systems.

The Noteworthy 5K returns with a special GSO style! Join the fun at this symphony-themed evening run.

A “Black Tie” party will be held after the race. The fun will include live music, hors d’oeuvres, beverages, awards and door prizes. Formal attire is optional, but prizes will be awarded to the best formally attired man and woman.

Play dress-up as you pair tuxedos with tennis shoes and sparkles with sneakers; or maybe wear jewels while you jog!  (Or you can just wear your usual running duds; that’s fine too.)

The race includes a 5k, plus a one-mile run, and a children’s trot. The 5k is open to competitive and non-competitive runners. Meanwhile, the Mozart Mile is just for fun. Participants can walk or run. There’s also the Tot’kovsky Trot for the little ones.
