Kennesaw Public Meeting on Swift-Cantrell Park Development
Attendees at the March 4 meeting will be asked to review exhibits and make comments and notes about how the park is used, what features function well and what areas need improvement.
From the City of Kennesaw:
On Tuesday, March 4, a public meeting will be held at 6:30 pm at the Ben Robertson Community Center to obtain constituent input about development plans for Swift-Cantrell Park.
City officials have been conducting a review of the Master Plan that was developed in 2006 and led to construction of the facilities in place today. Consideration is being given to the park features, uses and opportunities, and what changes (if any) will best serve the community’s needs. The meeting will is open to everyone.
The meeting will begin with a brief presentation by the planning consultants to introduce the process and the work to date, followed by a question and answer period.
Attendees will be asked to review exhibits and make comments and notes about how the park is used, what features function well and what areas need improvement. There will also be discussions about the existing master plan (which is available for viewing on the city’s website) and the facilities that are proposed to be added to the park.
