Kennesaw Shop Offers Free Smoothies For a Year

KENNESAW, GA -- Let's be honest: The only thing better than a cool, refreshing drink is a free cool, refreshing drink.

Tropical Smoothie Café announced Thursday that its giving away free smoothies for a year to the first 50 people in line Tuesday at its new store in Kennesaw.

The deal is part of a whole week of freebies for the family-run establishment, which is celebrating the Kennesaw store's grand opening at the location off Chastain Road near Kennesaw State University.

Let's run down the week of events:

-- Tuesday, Jan. 17 – First 50 guests in line to make a purchase will receive one free

smoothie per week for a whole year.

-- Wednesday, Jan. 18 – Guests will receive a Free Limited Edition Tropical Smoothie Café

water bottle with any purchase, while supplies last.

-- Thursday, Jan. 19 – The first 100 guests to buy a smoothie will receive a free Tropical

Smoothie Café smoothie mug, refillable for 50-cent discounts off smoothies.

-- Friday, Jan. 20 – 99-cent smoothies all day.

“We’re excited to be celebrating our Grand Opening and thankful to the Kennesaw area community that

has been so supportive of our new café,” co-owner Chris Pike, a Cobb County native, said in a news release.

Tropical Smoothie Café is located in Kennesaw at 777 Townpark Lane.
