Kennesaw Woman Accused of Theft
The woman worked at a pharmacy and allegedly paid out her own scratch-off lottery ticket winnings and tampered with a vending machine.

A Kennesaw woman has been charged with one count of theft by taking following an investigation into her alleged misdeeds while at work, Cobb County police announced Wednesday.
Claudia Paige Franklin, 30 allegedly paid out her own lottery ticket winnings while working at the Rite Aid pharmacy in the 3200 block of Cobb Parkway, and is also accused of tampering with the lottery ticket vending machine to cause shift logs to record far less money taken in from the number of tickets sold.
Police said their investigation revealed that Franklin stole some $47,000 worth of cash and lottery ticketsfrom her employer between January and September of this year.

Cobb County jail records show Franklin was arrested Monday and is being held on a $50,000 bond.
