KSU Owls Set To Soar Into March Madness In Historic Move

No. 14 KSU will face No. 3 Xavier University Musketeers at 12:40 p.m. Friday.

KENNESAW, GA — For the first time ever, the Kennesaw State Owls are heading to the Big Dance.

Fox 5 Atlanta reported the KSU men's basketball team leaves for Greensboro, North Carolina, Wednesday afternoon to head to March Madness.

No. 14 KSU will face No. 3 Xavier University Musketeers at 12:40 p.m. Friday. According to the full NCAA tournament schedule, the game will air on truTV.

KSU captured the moment the Owls learned who they were playing in March Madness. A video of the announcement was shared on the university's Facebook page.

Coach Amir Abdur-Rahmin told Fox 5 the key to KSU's success is the concept of "Be One No Ego."
