Lost Mountain Middle has taken a stand against bullying. The school recently became the latest in Cobb to implement the <a href="http://www.violencepreventionworks.org/public/olweus_bullying_prevention_program.page" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Olweus Bullying Prevention Program</a>, which has reduced bullying in schools around the country. According to the district's <a href="http://cobbcast.cobbk12.org/?p=5522" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">CobbCast blog</a>, students and staff members wore pink to recognize <a href="http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/story/2007/09/18/pink-tshirts-students.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">two Canadian high school boys who came to the defense of a student who was bullied for wearing a pink shirt</a>.
