KENNESAW, GA -- A Marietta man is behind bars Wednesday after he lead Cobb County law enforcement officers on a four-hour manhunt in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl in Kennesaw, Patch has learned. William Tyler Duke, 20, has been locked up since Monday afternoon, two days after police said he took the girl from her home. He is facing multiple charges, including sodomy and aggravated sodomy, statutory rape, interference with custody and felony aggravated child molestation, according to records from the Cobb County Sheriff's Office. According to the arrest warrant, Duke told the boyfriend of the girl's sister that "he was not thinking of returning her home," the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
