UPDATE: Shooting Reported at Kennesaw Gas Station

Cobb County police are responding to a shooting call at a gas station near Kennesaw State University Monday afternoon, according to a statement from police.

Spokesman Dana Pierce tells Patch that the shooting occurred at 1:38 p.m. at the CITGO at 3930 Busbee Parkway. A man told police he was pumping gas when he was shot in the leg multiple times.

K-9 units have been dispatched to the scene to assist police, Pierce says.
