Simple Battery, Fraud, Theft: Kennesaw Crime Blotter

In order to help keep residents safe and raise awareness of local crime, the Kennesaw Police Department has gone digital and lists the locations where crimes have been reported in their jurisdiction online.

According to CrimeReports.com, the following crimes took place in Kennesaw between Sunday, Oct. 18 and Saturday, Oct. 24:

• On Oct. 18 at 4:12 a.m., a vehicle theft was reported in the 2200 block of Bensman Lane.
• On Oct. 18 at 10:45 p.m., a theft was reported in the 2000 block of Lakeshore Overlook Drive.
• On Oct. 19 at 2:48 a.m., a vehicle theft was reported in the 2900 block of Cobb Parkway.
• On Oct. 19 at 10:40 a.m., a theft was reported in the 1000 block of Worley Court.
• On Oct. 19 at 11:01 a.m., a vehicle theft was reported in the 3900 block of Frey Road.
• On Oct. 19 at 12:11 p.m., a theft was reported in the 2600 block of Winterthur Main.
• On Oct. 19 at 5:10 p.m., a fraud/swindle/confidence game was reported in the 2300 block of Whispering Drive.
• On Oct. 19 at 10:39 p.m., a simple battery was reported at the intersection of Cobb Parkway and Kennesaw Due West Road.
• On Oct. 20 at 8:10 a.m., deposit account fraud was reported in the 4000 block of Avalon Parkway.
• On Oct. 20 at 9:25 a.m., a fraud/swindle/confidence game was reported in the 2500 block of Park Drive.
• On Oct. 21 at 9:20 a.m., a fraud/swindle/confidence game was reported in the 3900 block of McGuire Way.
• On Oct. 21 at 4:06 p.m., a theft was reported in the 3900 block of Cherokee Street.
• On Oct. 21 at 5:49 p.m., a theft was reported in the 2600 block of Cobb Parkway.
• On Oct. 22 at 10:18 a.m., a theft was reported in the 2500 block of Woodland Drive.
• On Oct. 23 at 10:44 a.m., a theft was reported in the 3100 block of Cherokee Street.
• On Oct. 23 at 11:50 a.m., a theft was reported in the 2700 block of Cobb Parkway.
• On Oct. 23 at 4:36 p.m., a theft was reported in the 2000 block of Sand Wedge Circle.
• On Oct. 24 at 10:16 a.m., a theft was reported in the 3800 block of Seattle Place.
• On Oct. 24 at 8:24 p.m., a theft was reported in the 4000 block of Sumit Wood Drive.
