Teen Dies After Falling Through Frozen Cobb Lake: Report

KENNESAW, GA — A teenage boy died after falling through the ice on a partially frozen lake in Kennesaw Wednesday night, WSB-TV reported, citing the Cobb County Fire Department.

Officials said two boys were playing on the ice when they both fell in, but only one survived, the outlet reported.

After the first boy was pulled from the water, a rescue boat had to search the lake before finding the second boy, who died later at the hospital.
