2 Found Dead During Welfare Check At Lawrenceville Home

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — A man and woman died during a domestic-related incident Tuesday at a home in the 400 block of Clearwater Place in Lawrenceville, Gwinnett County Police said.

Officers responded around 11:15 a.m. in reference to a welfare check at the home. Police said when they arrived, they found the duo dead inside the house, along with a gun.

Police have not released a manner or cause of the death for the pair in the isolated incident. The man and woman were not identified, pending next-of-kin notification.

Details were limited, but police said the case was being investigated as a homicide.
