SNELLVILLE, GA — The Gwinnett County Police Department is asking the public for tips to identify two men who attacked a customer last month at a Waffle House restaurant in the Snellville area. The first assailant is described by police as a black man, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 220 pounds.

The other individual wanted by the Gwinnett police would be hard to miss. Also a black man, they describe him as about 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 300 pounds.

The two men got into a brawl with an unidentified customer at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, outside the Waffle House, the police said. It was captured by a security camera and a bystander's cell phone (see images above).

The police say the victim entered the restaurant and placed a to-go order at the counter. While waiting in line, he accidentally bumped into the first assailant.

That individual "became aggressive and told the victim to meet him outside," the police said in a statement.

He then left the building, "and can be seen on security video waiting for the victim just outside the door," the police said.

The victim took his order and was walking out of the restaurant when the first attacker jumped him. As they fought, the second attacker joined in, the police said.

When the fight ended, the two attackers fled the Waffle House in a black Dodge Challenger, a two door sports car. The victim’s injuries were treated at the scene by emergency personnel.
