Why Go: The offers later hours, refreshments and specials the first Friday of every month. This month the store is offeringΒ  a custom soldered pendant at a discount. Choose your artwork and they'll make the pendant while you wait for $14, including chain or ribbon. It's a good time to explore the rest of Lawrenceville's unique shops as well.

3. Heirloom's Rubber Stamp and Paper Arts Festival

When: Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Why go: The Heirloom shows are major events in the world of rubber stamp and paper arts festivals.Β  Explore the world of stamping, cardmaking, scrapbooking, and other paper arts products.

Pricing: $8 at the door covers both days; $6 Sunday only, children under 12 free

When: Saturday, Feb. 5 at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m.

Why Go: Cho, who says being an Asian American with a southern accent is funny in and of itself, has made guest appearances on "Designing Women," "The New WKRP in Cincinnati," and had a starring role in the film "Revenge of the Nerds III: The Next Generation." Cho has earned the nickname "Mr. Clean" because his comedy routines are always clean.Β
