Man Riddled With Gunshot Wounds After Door Busted In: Police
A killer may be at large after a Gwinnett man was found with gunshot wounds and his home was entered with a ramming device, police said.
LAWRENCEVILLE, GA -- The Gwinnett County Police Department Homicide Unit is investigating a homicide at the 1900-block Patterson Circle in unincorporated Lawrenceville.
The call came in shortly after 5 a.m. Friday morning. A neighbor called to report hearing gunshots nearby. When officers arrived at the scene, they located a home with gunshots in the door and shell-casings on the ground.
The door was secured, so they had to use a ramming device to make entry. Once they got inside, they found a man dead at the bottom of the stairs with apparent gunshot wounds.

At this time, police do not have a suspect description, and don’t know the motive for the crime. Detectives are at the scene interviewing neighbors.
