ID Needed For Human Skull Found In Lawrenceville

The public's help is being sought in identifying a human skull that was recently found in Lawrenceville.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — Gwinnett County medical examiners need help identifying a human skull found last week in the area of University Parkway and Duluth Highway.

The Gwinnett County Medical Examiner's Office on Wednesday released a sketch of the person's potential appearance. Georgia Bureau of Investigation Forensic Artist Kelly Lawson created the sketch, according to the M.E.'s office.

Officials say the skull, which was found on Feb. 10 by construction workers, belongs to a Caucasian man in the 35-70 age range. No other skeletal remains were located, officials said.

The M.E.'s office asked anyone with information pertaining to the person's identity to call Lawrenceville Police at (770) 963-2443 or the Gwinnett County Medical Examiner’s Office at (678) 442-3160.
