Husband Charged After Wife's Body Found Behind Business
Lawrenceville Police have charged Fernando Perez-Guzman with the murder of Yamilet Rodriguez.

Lawrenceville Police have arrested a local man for the murder of his wife, whose body was found behind a Pike Street business Thursday.
Fernando Perez-Guzman, of Lawrenceville, was arrested and charged Thursday night, according to jail records. He is being held without bond on murder and immigration charges.
He is accused of murdering his wife, Yamilet Rodriguez, who had been reported as missing on the cityβs Facebook pageΒ earlier in the day. The Facebook post said Rodriquez had βleft her home on foot [On Oct. 7] and has not been seen or heard from by her family since.β

Her body was found Thursday afternoon behind the Express Oil Change location at 410 West Pike Street after a caller reported smelling a foul odor, the Gwinnett Daily Post reported.
Perez-Guzman was booked into the county jail shortly before 8 p.m. Thursday.
