Feeding the hungry is one of the most significant acts in Islam. The Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) guided Muslims to take care of the poor and needy by providing them with food and charity. The Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that “Whoever feeds a hungry, God feeds him from the fruits of Paradise on the Day of Resurrection….” The volunteers of HF are sharing food with others which is an excellent way of bringing the community together and taking care of the vulnerable.
