Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Ms. Gatewood goes above and beyond for her children either through counseling, spending extra time outside of the classroom to tutor, buying supplies and clothes for the ones who are in need. She does this in a way of not exposing the children which may cause low self esteem and bullying. She hates bullying and a big proponent of high self esteem. She carries her children’s feelings on her sleeve and is always thinking of ideas to make the children experiences at school better as well as the teachers that serve them. Ms. Gatewood is a pillar at home with her own young adults, at Moore Middle School, and in the community she resides in. I love her for who she is and what she stands for. Thank you for giving me an opportunity to speak about this great lady that serves Gwinnett County well.
