Man Breaks Into Vehicle At YMCA, Buys $1,000 In Gift Cards
A man broke into a vehicle at the Lawrenceville YMCA and stole a purse, then went to buy $1,000 in gift cards, police say.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — Gwinnett Police need the public’s help in identifying a man in a recent vehicle break-in and subsequent credit card fraud. On Feb. 27 a vehicle was broken into while it was parked at the YMCA located at 2985 Sugarloaf Parkway in unincorporated Lawrenceville.
When the owner found the damaged vehicle she determined that her purse had been stolen. She contacted her credit card company and found out that her card had been fraudulently used at a nearby Walmart. Further investigation showed that the suspect bought gift cards and a sports drink.
The man is described as approximately 5’8” to 6’00” tall, 160-180 pounds, wearing a black hoodie and black jogging pants with a white stripe down the sides.
