Man Killed Staff Member Over Work Dispute, Gwinnett Police Say
A manager is being accused of fatally shooting his staff member over an employment matter in Lawrenceville, police say.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — A 40-year-old Hoschton man is facing murder charges after police accused him of shooting and killing his staff member over a work-related dispute.
Gwinnett County Police on Thursday said Michael Todd fatally shot Donald Stewart, 43, of Commerce, Wednesday in the 4900 block of Sugarloaf Parkway.
Officers responded around noon and found Stewart suffering from a gunshot wound in a parking lot, police said. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died, police said.

Todd, who engaged in a dispute with Stewart over employment matters, remained at the scene and was taken into custody, police said.
Officers charged Todd on suspicion of malice murder, felony murder, two counts of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, police said.
