A Radiant Success: The Second Gathering of the Ahmadi Muslim Women

The two-day event, themed "Servants of God," brought together members from Tampa, Miami, Charlotte, Orlando, and Jacksonville.

With hearts full of gratitude and spirits uplifted, the Women’s Auxiliary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community celebrated its second regional Ijtema on May 10th and 11th, 2025, hosted at Baitul Ata Mosque in Atlanta, Georgia.

The two-day event, themed "Servants of God," brought together members from Tampa, Miami, Charlotte, Orlando, and Jacksonville.

The program began with a soul-stirring recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by a wide range of educational competitions for both women and children (ages 7–15).
A lively and educational Kahoot quiz competition, based on The History of Ahmadiyyat, brought out joyful energy and teamwork among participants. A thought-provoking presentation titled “Courtesy and Good Behavior of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him)” was deeply appreciated. It reminded everyone of the noble character and teachings of our beloved Prophet.

Salat breaks were observed throughout the day, reinforcing the importance of spiritual discipline and reflection. Fundraising efforts throughout the event reflected the generous spirit of attendees. Members supported the future National Women Conference Hall in Maryland by purchasing homemade food, refreshing drinks, Pakistani cuisine, ice cream, plants, and clothing. By the end of the event, a heartfelt $2,824.26 had been raised—an incredible testament to the community's collective dedication.

With 221 attendees, up from 196 last year, the growth and enthusiasm were undeniable. The Ijtema (event) concluded with a prize distribution ceremony and appreciative remarks by Regional Women President Farhat Pall Sahiba, who praised the months of hard work by the volunteers and expressed deep gratitude for every contribution made to the event's success.

This event was not just a gathering—it was a living embodiment of Islamic sisterhood, service, and spiritual growth. From the welcoming homes to the engaging sessions and heartfelt prayers, the weekend was a moving reminder of what it means to be servants of God, reflecting our motto: “Love for All, Hatred for None.”
May God bless all the members who served, participated, and contributed to the success of this historic regional event.
