Report: Lawrenceville Teen Drowns in Lake Lanier
The 17-year-old Quavante Combs was pronounced dead Saturday evening, according to the Gainesville Times.
A 17-year-old from Lawrenceville drowned Saturday while trying to swim across a cove on Lake Lanier in South Hall County, according to a report in the Gainesville Times.
The teen has been identified as Quavante Combs, according to the report. Emergency officials were alerted about 5:20 p.m. Saturday, and Combs was pronounced dead less than two hours later.
