Elections are Tuesday and City Council meeting has been moved.
On Monday, the Gwinnett Online Campus will hold an informational meeting for students and parents interested in mid-year registration.
Tuesday is Election Day. Voters in the City of Lawrenceville will elect a new member of City Council. The candidates are Larry Troutman, Renita Hamilton, Keith Roche and Rory Johnson. Bob Clark is running unopposed. Voters in Gwinnett County will vote on a 1% SPLOST. Not sure where you need to go to cast a ballot? Visit the state election's page to find your polling place.
November's monthly City Council meeting will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 6 instead of the typical Monday.
On Thursday evening, Gwinnett County Public Schools will announce their Teacher of the Year at a banquet at the Gwinnett Center. Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science and Technology ninth grade engineering teacher Hyunjin Son is one of the six GCPS teachers to make it to the final round.
