Twins Fatally Shot Atop GA Mountain In Apparent Murder-Suicide: GBI
The metro Atlanta twin brothers, both hikers, were found shot to death on the top of Bell Mountain, authorities said.
HIAWASSEE, GA — Twin brothers, both hikers from Lawrenceville, were found shot to death in an apparent murder-suicide Sunday atop Bell Mountain, Georgia authorities said Sunday.
Qaadir Malik Lewis and Naazir Rahim Lewis, 19, were found dead with gunshot wounds around 11 a.m. Saturday on top of the Hiawassee, Towns County mountain, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said.
Authorities did not release full details but said a preliminary probe indicated the deaths of the Lewis brothers were an apparent murder-suicide. Autopsies are pending.

Bell Mountain, located about 5 miles from the Hiawassee town square, sits in Towns County near Lake Chatuge.
