2 Teens Charged With Murder In Lilburn Shooting: Police

LILBURN, GA — Two teenagers have been charged in connection with a shooting that killed a 16-year-old boy and injured a 17-year-old girl, Gwinnett Police said Friday.

The shooting happened Wednesday evening in the 700 block of Beaver Ruin Road, police said.

A 16-year-old from Lawrenceville and a 16-year-old from Lilburn are being charged on suspicion of aggravated assault, felony murder and malice murder, police said.

The two were arrested in Fort Walton, Florida, by the Walton County Sheriff's Office, police said. They will be held in Walton County until they are able to be extradited to Gwinnett County.
