Man Killed In Lilburn, Warrants Out For Teenage Suspect: Police

Authorities believe the motive to be domestic.

LILBURN, GA — Police are seeking the public’s help to find the suspect in a fatal weekend shooting in Lilburn.

Officers responded about 12:40 a.m. Saturday to the scene of a shooting in the 1400 block of Fox Forest Court Southwest, where they found 45-year-old Felipe Velasco suffering from a gunshot wound, according to Gwinnett County police. Velasco was taken to a hospital but pronounced dead on arrival, police said.

Miguel Rodriguez, 19, has been identified as the suspect and is the subject of arrest warrants for murder and aggravated assault, according to police. Rodriguez drives a Jeep Wrangler with the Georgia tag XEG482, police said.
