Prosecutors say the group repeatedly stole tools, electronics, and household items from chains like Home Depot, Walmart, Target, and Lowe’s. State officials estimate retail theft costs Georgia businesses millions of dollars annually.
   

• Judd Gibb, Gary Robison Win PGA Quarter Century Championship; Wendell Coffee Earns Half Century Title (pga.com) — Lilburn golfer Bill Moser, 91, stole the spotlight at a PGA Winter Championship event in Florida by scoring a hole-in-one despite playing hurt after a fall. The tournament also crowned division winners from Iowa, Florida, and Georgia, including Half Century champion Wendell Coffee. Moser’s ace was celebrated as one of the day’s most impressive achievements.
