Suspect Wanted In Armed Robbery Of Pawn Shop: Police

Gwinnett police say a man went into a Stone Mountain Highway pawn shop Saturday and robbed the store of jewelry, money and handguns.

LILBURN, GA — Gwinnett police are searching for a suspect wanted in the armed robbery of the Cash American Pawn Shop near Stone Mountain Highway Saturday, according to a news release.

Authorities said Tuesday a man went into the shop with a handgun and zip-tied two employees before making them lay face down on the floor.

The man is accused of stealing more than $21,000 worth of jewelry, about $1,500 dollars and 10 handguns, police said.

He was wearing black jeans, a black shirt, black boots, a blue hat, sunglasses, gloves and a blue surgical mask, police said. He was driving a black Toyota Camry, police said.
