Grayson To Appoint Engineer/Architect/Building Inspector for Package Store

Grayson City Council members will be appointing a special engineer, architect and building inspector to supervise smooth passage of the city’s first package store. The appointment will be made at Monday’s City Council meeting.

After voter’s approved changing the city’s alcohol ordinance to allow for a package store in the city, the council voted last month to approve the application of Suwanee businessman Richard Tucker.  With his successful application, Tucker will bring Grayson Cellars LLC to the city of Grayson. He was one of three applicants hoping to bring the first package store to the city.
