Jason Johnson, will again make the pilgrimage. This year, however, Johnson said he won't walk the distance to the foot of the mountain and back from Loganville.
"I had thought about it, but I have been out of town for about 5 months and haven't had the time to promote it," Johnson said, adding he would just be walking up the mountain with the cross this time. in time for the Easter Sunrise Service April 8 on the top of the Mountain. "I will be there at about 5 a.m."
Information about how to join Johnson in his "Jesus Walks" tribute to Christ's walk to the crucifixion can be found on his Facebook page.
