• Teen arrested in killing of Loganville 17-year-old, GBI says (wsbtv.com) — A 17-year-old from Loganville was identified as the victim in a fatal shooting at a Bloomingdale apartment complex, and a 16-year-old from Savannah has now been arrested and charged as an adult. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says the suspect faces multiple felony counts, including felony murder and armed robbery.
   

• Lady Eagles fall to Loganville despite big game from Rivera-Villarini (covnews.com) — Loganville’s girls basketball team, led by standout center Jadeah Marshall, handed Eastside a 59-48 loss in a non-region matchup played in Loganville. Despite a big scoring night from Eastside’s Jarilix Rivera-Villarini, Loganville’s strong third quarter created a gap that a late Eastside surge couldn’t close.
