
“Let’s Get Back to Work”
Presented by Walton County Schools Title I Program, the Georgia Department of Labor, and the 21st CCLC
This is a two-part program to provide free learning opportunities to adults and work-eligible teens to prepare them to enter the work force.
It will take place on Saturday, March 3, 2012 and Saturday, March 10, 2012 10:00am - 2:00pm at the Board of Education Annex, 1820 Ga. Hwy. 11 N, Monroe, 30656 (old Walker Park Elementary School). (Includes free snacks and lunch).

The purpose is to enhance the confidence and self-esteem of job seekers, to support non-graduates to get their GED, to decrease the high school drop-out rate, and to promote parent engagement and interest in our public schools.
A sample of topics to be covered include:
- Identifying your skills
- Preparing a resume
- Complete a job application on-line
- Building confidence for a strong interview
- How to Dress for Success
- How to handle rejection
Free lunch and child care will be provided for those attending.
