On Friday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m., the American Legion Riders Post 233 will join with the City of Loganville, for a Veterans Day ceremony on the lawn in front of City Hall. They are inviting the community to join them in thanking veterans for their service.
The ceremony will commence with a Presentation of Colors from the American Legion Color Guard. City Councilwoman Michelle Lynch, as a military wife, will speak at the ceremony.
"I am humbled to be honoring our military at this event. I hold our Veterans in the highest regard and look forward to bringing out the recognition they deserve," Lynch said.

"As the Committee Chair for the Parks and Events Committee, I have received interest from our citizens for a Veterans Day event," Lynch said. "With involvement from the American Legion organization, I felt a simple, honorable ceremony was in order. Civilians look forward to extending their gratitude to our country's heroic group of Veterans, who I feel are so humble, and Friday will provide them with that opportunity."
