Craigslist posted the following Help Wanted Ad for a part-time Bookkeeper/Accountant. - The position is offering 25 hours a week at $17 per hour.
Position requirements:
* Five years' experience in either Peachtree or QuickBooks, as well as one other big-box accounting system.
* Acumatica experience would be a real plus.
* This position is more than a check-writing position; there will be A/R, A/P, bank reconciliations, and responsibility for moving inventory.
* Strong Excel skills.
* Ability to multi-task and be able to change priorities when necessary. If you work best in an environment that is
steady and never changing, this position is not for you. You may have "x" scheduled for the day, but when you
arrive at the office, "y" may have come up -- can you take it in stride and reprioritize your duties, taking care
of what needs to be done without getting stressed out?
* Ability to keep accurate time records on work performed.
* Commute to our Loganville location and visits to some of our clients at their location. There is reimbursement for mileage.
* Experience and comfort with answering phones and assisting clients on the phone
* Applicants must be friendly, honest, detail-oriented and professional.
Job Information:
* 25 hours per week to start. (future growth anticipated but not guaranteed)
* Professional but business-casual environment.
* There will be an accounting/computer skills test.
* Background and MVR checks will be run on all candidates and must be clear
* This is an hourly position
