More thank 50 Walton County FFA members attended the 2012 FFA-FCCLA Summer Leadership Camp in Covington during the week of May 28th through June 1st.Â
FFA members from W, , and kicked the summer off with a week full of high impact sports and leadership activities that not many summer camps could rival. What is FFA-FCCLA Summer Leadership Camp? Summer Leadership Camp is a week-long camp for FFA and FCCLA students from all over Georgia. The purpose of the week is to have fun while building leadership and teambuilding skills. Activities included competitions such as volleyball, softball, swim meets, mud-run obstacle challenges, ping pong, skeet-shooting, archery, as well as nightly dances, assemblies, talent shows, free recreation and leadership training!Â

Loganville Middle FFA member and rising LHS freshman Mathew Arp says he enjoyed the team mud-obstacle course, delicious food and meeting lots of fellow FFA members from across the state. FFA-FCCLA Summer Leadership Camp is held each year for five consecutive weeks at the beautiful Georgia FFA-FCCLA Center in Covington, GA.
