State Rep. Brett Harrell (R-Snellville) will give a preview of the 2012 Legislative Session Jan. 3, 2012 during the Snellville Commerce Club luncheon at Snellville City Hall, 2342 Oak Road in Snellville. With the Georgia Legislature set to begin its annual 40 day session in Atlanta later in the month, Harrell was invited to give a preview of what to expect from under the Gold Dome in 2012.
With the new redistricting from the 2010 Census, in addition to Snellville, Harrell will now also represent parts of Loganville and Grayson as well as a small section of Lawrenceville. He is up for re-election in 2012.
Lunch will be catered by Eagle's Landing. It is free for Commerce Club Business-level members and $15 for others. Bring yourself and a guest and start the new year right.
