The Empty Stocking Fund of Walton County is looking to help 425 families in Walton County have a real blessing this holiday season.
"Our goal for this year is $25,000 to purchase food for 425 food boxes which will be delivered to the families," said Alicia Ramfos of the ESF. "Volunteers are needed to help deliver these boxes on Dec. 17 at 8:00 a.m. at the Monroe National Guard Armory. Our charity is a Georgia Non-Profit Corporation and has been approved as a federal 501(c) (3) exempt organization."
Ramfos said all donations are tax exempt for Federal and State returns and the Board of Directors and Officers are all volunteers. All donations go to the ESF.
