Armed Robber Takes $9K, Suspect Sought By Gwinnett Police

Gwinnett police need the public's help to ID a man who robbed a gas-station customer at gunpoint of more than $9,000.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — Gwinnett police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who took more than $9,000 at gunpoint on July 21 from a victim in Peachtree Corners.

According to a news release from the Gwinnett County Police Department, the victim was in line at a gas station and noticed the suspect in line behind him. When the victim left, the suspect followed the victim out.

Soon thereafter, a beige Chevrolet Impala stopped the victim in the road, and the male suspect pointed a handgun at the victim. The suspect then took more than $9,000, along with other personal items.
