Authority on Wildlife Trapping Warns of Coyote Dangers
Professional wildlife trapper and Patch blogger Tim Ivey addresses the issue of recent coyote sightings in Gwinnett County.

Tim Ivey, professional wildlife trapper and Patch blogger, was featured on WSBTV on Tuesday following a series of coyote sightings in Gwinnett County.
Ivey trapped a severely diseased coyote in Lawrenceville last week after being contracted by a homeowner who was concerned about her animals. In the WSBTV special, Ivey gave some of the reasons for the increased number of sightings at this time of the year. He also warned ofΒ the importanceΒ of keeping a close eye on small pets, particularly in more rural settings.
The client Ivey was working for had several coyotes living under a shed on her property. Ivey said the overpopulation sometime leads to diseases in the coyote population.
