A 15 Year Old Boy, Mother Both Shot, Killed In Home: Gwinnett County Police
A family member told police she found her brother Alexander Postell, 15, and their mother both shot.
LOGANVILLE, GA — A 15-year-old boy and his mother were shot in their home last week, according to Gwinnett County police.
The boy’s sister told police that shortly before 9 a.m. on Feb. 24 she heard a gunshot and when she went into the bedroom her brother was shot, but still alive. Their mother was already dead from a self-inflicted gunshot. The boy has been identified as Alexander Postell, according to police. He died at the hospital. The suspect has been identified as 52-year-old Nicole Strother.
Detectives are still working to determine the motive in the incident.
