Career Expo Showcases Jobs With Gwinnett Government Friday

The free event will be held Friday, Oct. 5, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center, in Lawrenceville.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA – Job seekers looking to begin their career with Gwinnett County Government are invited to the fourth annual Career Expo hosted by the Gwinnett County Department of Human Resources. The free event will be held Friday, Oct. 5, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center, 75 Langley Drive in Lawrenceville.

HR representatives will be available to provide free résumé critiques. In the auditorium, employee testimonials, a presentation covering Gwinnett County’s employee benefits and an application and interview skills training session will be held throughout the morning.

The Career Expo gives job seekers an opportunity to meet face-to-face with representatives from various County departments and learn about job opportunities in many fields, including information technology, skilled trades and grounds maintenance, administrative/clerical, public safety, engineering, project management, accounting and finance, and customer service.
