Clearview Pediatrics Now Holds Old Loganville Pediatrics Records

If you didn't get to pick up your family's old medical records from Loganville Pediatrics before it closed, Clearview Pediatrics in Loganville now has them for safekeeping.

If your family was a patient of Loganville Pediatrics and you didn’t manage to get your records before the practice closed, you can relax - they are still available.

“Clearview Pediatrics has all of them,” said Emily Russell, marketing director at Clearview Regional Medical Center. “They can be contacted at 770-554-8884 and are located at 7766 Hampton Place, Loganville (just beside the entrance to Bay Creek Elementary School).”

Russell said Clearview Pediatrics also welcomes the former patients of Loganville Pediatrics should they wish to transfer to the practice.

"Dr. Mehwish Sheikh is committed to upholding the same standards of quality care that the Loganville Pediatric patients are accustomed to," Russell said.

The doctor who founded Loganville Pediatrics, Dr. Melva Lameda, died in March 2012. The practice stayed open for a year, but then with almost no advanced notice to patients it closed at the end of March 2013. At that time, patients were left scrambling to pick up records before the premises were vacated. According to Russell, any records that were left were then passed on to Clearview Pediatrics for safekeeping so they are still accessible to anyone who didn’t get to pick them up in time.
