Dead Man Found Floating In Lake Carlton
The discovery could be related to person reported missing from Loganville, Alvin Ahmed.

LOGANVILLE, GA — An unidentified dead man's body was found floating in Lake Carlton Wednesday. The discovery could be related to person reported missing from Loganville, Alvin Ahmed.
Gwinnett County Police Department officers responded to a suspicious activity call on the lake at Lake Carlton Road and Bob White Lane), in Loganville, at about 8:15 p.m. The caller noticed something floating in the water and called 911. Fire Department personnel responded with officers and used a boat to approach the object. They were able to confirm it was a deceased man.

Detectives have taken over the case in an effort to identify the deceased person. Decomposition has made identification difficult, however an autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.
