Dead Man's Dental Records To Be Checked Against Missing Man's
The dental records of a man found dead, floating in Lake Carlton will be checked against those of a man who went missing in Loganville.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — The dental records of a man found dead, floating in Lake Carlton will be checked against those of a man who went missing in Loganville, Alvin Ahmend.
Hall County Sheriff's Office divers searched Lake Carlton Friday and are expected to continue searching this week. According to authorities, nothing related to the case has been found at this point.
An autopsy completed Thursday did not immediately identify the body of a dead man found floating in Lake Carlton Wednesday.

Authorities say the investigation in the case is ongoing. Further tests will be completed, but the results will not be available immediately. Further results from the autopsy will not be released at this time.

An unidentified dead man's body was found floating in Lake Carlton Wednesday. The discovery could be related to person reported missing from Loganville, Alvin Ahmed.
Gwinnett County Police Department officers responded to a suspicious activity call on the lake at Lake Carlton Road and Bob White Lane), in Loganville, at about 8:15 p.m. The caller noticed something floating in the water and called 911. Fire Department personnel responded with officers and used a boat to approach the object. They were able to confirm it was a deceased man.
Detectives have taken over the case in an effort to identify the deceased person. Decomposition has made identification difficult, however an autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.
