Early Voting Available in Walton County Saturday for General Election
City Elections for Loganville will not be available at City Hall on Saturday. Polls in Walton County for the General Election are open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Walton County Government Building, Hammond Road, Monroe.
Early voting is well under way in Walton County with some 8,000 voters already casting their ballots by Friday afternoon, according to Deputy Elections Registrar Jennifer Stone. This is about the same number who voted early at this point in 2008, Stone said. However, early voting was availabe for 45 days in advance of Election Day in 2008 and only 21 days in 2012.
Early voting for the one ballot initiative in Loganville to consider a package store inside the city limits has been low, only just getting out of the single digits by Thursday, according to Kristi Ash with the City of Loganville. Early voting has been available at Loganville City Hall, Pecan Street, during business hours Monday to Friday and will be so again next week. There is no early voting in the City Elections in Loganville on Saturday. Early voting at Loganville City Hall will cease at close of business Friday next week and will then be available from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6, at the Rock Gym on Main Street.

Saturday, Oct. 27, is the only weekend opportunity for voters in Walton County to cast early ballots for the General Election. The polls will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Elections Office, Walton County Government Building, Hammond Road, Monroe.
The polls will be open again from Monday to Friday next week and will then close to open again one last time from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the day of the election, Nov. 6.
