Monthly SALT Triad meetings are held in Loganville the first Friday of every month in the community center at Southern Plantation. SALT is an acronym for Seniors and Law Enforcement Together. The purpose of the organization is to help reduce crime against the elderly and keep them informed of steps being taken by law enforcement to ensure their safety. In Loganville, the meetings are also used to update seniors on city and county matters and projects undertaken by the government. A breakfast is served. The April sponsor and featured speaker will be from Clearview Regional Medical Center.
Southern Plantation helps and they have asked for BINGO prizes for the residents. They like to get lotion, bath soap, paper towels, tissues and seasonal items. The sugar-free candies are also good and the Dollar Store has good prices.
