ScrubnDirt, the old Place to Ride, is having a Memorial Moto-X race for track founder and former Walton County chairman John Krieger. Registration begins at 7 a.m., practice begins at 9 a.m. and the PeeWee races begin at 10 a.m. The races begin at 11 a.m.
Krieger died Nov. 29, 2009 after he suffered a medical emergency while riding on the track. Officials said his son, also John Krieger, will take a memorial ride around the track. The new owners of the track also will make a presentation to Krieger's widow, Judy.
