GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — Authorities are investigating the shooting death Sunday morning of a man at an extended-stay hotel in Peachtree Corners.

The victim, identified as Quantez Williams, 41, of College Park, was found at the Home Towne Studios after police answered a “person shot” call shortly before 8 a.m., according to Gwinnett County Police spokesperson Sgt. Michele Pihera.

Investigators say they believe that two men staying at the hotel called a woman to visit. She later called Williams, who arrived at the room with yet another woman. An argument followed, according to authorities, and one of the two original residents of the room shot Williams. The suspects then fled the room. Williams later died of his injuries.
