Fireworks Reportedly Set off Inside Mailbox: Walton County Sheriff's Office Alerts
The Walton County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls Nov. 18-19.

Zone 1
Suspicious Person – A white male reportedly entered a vehicle on Jersey-Covington Rd. The owner of the vehicle did not know who the subject was. The K-9 unit was called to the scene.
Zone 3
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to two alarms at a residence on Brook Lane in Crystal Brook subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
Zone 5
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Hidden Creek Lane in Providence Club subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
Burglary Report – A burglary was reported at a residence on Ozora Church Rd. Several items were taken from the residence. Criminal Investigations Division was notified.
Zone 6
Damage to Property – Fireworks were reportedly set off inside of a mailbox on Marce Camp Rd.
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Lexington Drive in Lexington Ridge. All windows and doors appeared secure.
Burglary – A residence was forcibly entered on Saddlebrook Drive in Saddlebrook subdivision. The residence was ransacked, but nothing appeared missing. A suspect has been named.
Zone 7
Theft – A tiller and a grinder were taken from the driveway at a residence on Broadnax Mill Rd.
Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested on Woodhaven Lane in Thompson Mill Forest subdivision in reference to someone opening all the mailboxes on the street.
