Former Falcons Star Arrested In Gwinnett For Traffic Violations
A former Falcons player was arrested in Gwinnett on multiple traffic offenses. He now coaches wide receivers at Johns Creek High School.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA -- A former Falcons player was arrested April 12 in Gwinnett County for driving violations, according to multiple media outlets.
Sharod "Roddy" White, 37, of Braselton, was arrested for HOV lane violation and driving with a suspended or revoked license by the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office.
The AJC reported that the Falcons' all-time receiving leader spent his entire NFL career in Atlanta, playing 11 seasons and getting selected to the Pro Bowl four times. He was named All-Pro in 2010 after leading the league with 115 receptions, the paper said.

White retired in April 2017 after not playing during the 2016 season. He then took a new job coaching wide receivers at Johns Creek High School, 11Alive Sports confirmed. The school's athletic department declined to comment on his arrest or whether this will affect this upcoming season, the station reported.
This was not White's first run in with the law. The AJC reported that in 2014 White was arrested by Gwinnett police for failing to appear in court for a window tint violation issued a year earlier, records show.
